That just gave me a great idea!
There's a local music instrument/guitar shop with pretty much everything you could ever need for a guitarist.
Maybe I could get a gift card to the guitar shop (along with the Swedish fish, a homemade card with a drawing on it, and a lacrosse shirt), and tadaa! The perfect gift.
And it's not that pricey either...Probably the most expensive will be the gift card (what would be a good price to put on it? $20?) and the lacrosse shirt. But overall, it's not that bad.
Thanks everyone!
Or if that's too much...then I could skip the lacrosse shirt and go with a homemade card with drawing, Swedish fish, and gift card. Then again, I don't know why, but I've always felt like gift cards were the easy way out on a gift...they don't really have any personal meaning. Maybe that's not in this case, but I'm not sure if a gift card is as thoughtful as the gift could be.
The drawing/homemade card, for example, would have a lot more thought put into it. Then again, I've also heard that it can be tricky when buying clothes for a guy, especially early on in the relationship. Still, you can't go wrong with a nice, simple sweatshirt for his favorite sport, and in his favorite color. Should I go with all of it (card/drawing, Swedish fish, lacrosse shirt, and gift card), or the card/drawing, Swedish fish, and gift card, or the card/drawing, Swedish fish, and lacrosse shirt?
Maybe I'm just thinking too much into all of it...
