Hmm, perhaps. I geuss I haven’t considered them in the long run- I just really wanted fowl in Germany.
That or I didn’t want to go without fowl kn Germany.

You could do chickens... Buy chicks when you get there, then retire them when you leave. Hens lay go till they're 2-3 years old. Maybe this is something to consider?

I just spent a week @ camp as a camper, then another week as a staffer, and I’m going to spend another week there in a few weeks. Each drive there is about 2 hours. I’ve spent about 12 hours driving there and back. Another 4 hours on the next week, and I’ll have driven about 17 driving hours. (Plus other things- food, mall, split weeks, etc.)
