BR - Chicken just gone missing!?!

When I was a kid, a baby duck died under a watermelon rhind. Since then I have been terrified about bowls and buckets and such. I had a chicken die in a 5 gallon bucket of water. The pullet was about 12 weeks old, so she wasn't tiny by any means. You never worry about that stuff until it comes knocking on your door. Don't beat yourself up, this stuff is bound to happen to every one of us at some point or another. The longer you have animals, the more exposure you have to tragedy.
