Haha, this seems like a good thread for me! I'm always talking about my gang!
My first chicken was Finn, a bantam rooster who we found stuck under the horse barn. Our neighbors had chickens, so obviously one of the hens hatched out a few and Finn was a part of them. They're always coming over in the summer months, so I'm thinking the hen came over with a few chicks, and one got left behind. (this was back in September 2013). Since then, I've had Finn living in the house as an amazing pet. He can be a little jerk at times, but mostly, he's a sweet boy.
He has always lived inside (except the few weeks when he was a baby) with two dogs and a duck (she was injured, so we kept her inside and she bonded with everyone). He does wear a diaper, so the cleanup isn't too bad, and at night he either roosts on the TV or sleeps in a dog carrier.
A few days ago on Sunday, I got my first two hens! Someone posted an ad on a local poultry group saying they need to rehome a few free hens, so I took in two. I named them Speckles (silver laced Wyandotte), and Blu (rhode island red). They have been the sweetest girls ever! They wont let me pick them up yet, but they will eat out of my hand and will let me get somewhat close.

Tomorrow, we might get a new addition! My mother might let me get a White Leghorn, which I'm going to name Peppermint.
