Your Wyandotte is a cockerel. See those long, thin, pointed feathers on the back? Those are specific to males.

Good evening. Glad to hear we didn't steer you wrong and you have a fine young hen.
Hm... The Wyandotte is a truly handsome young cockerel. The bottom one looks like a Cochin, but doesn't have feathered legs. :/ Anyhow, that's a pretty, young, pullet.
