This is my 6 month old Brahmas feet. Lately I noticed she’s been staying in her perch area away from the cold and snow doesn’t like to be out in the snow too long. So I’ve been concerned trying to figure out what’s wrong. Both of her claws on both feet have had a little bleeding so I soaked her feet in warm soapy water and put corn starch on the spots where the blood was coming from. Is this just irritation from the snow or possible leg mites? I’ve only been a chicken owner for 7 months so any advice helps!
I don't think that she has a mite problem. Brahmas tend to have minor foot issues in the snow/wet/mud.
