Brahma Hen Constantly Clearing Throat & Shaking Head

Hi Everyone. Thank you for taking anytime to help on this, i really appreciate the collective thoughts.

Here are the symptoms for Freckles:

• she constantly clears her throat by making a sound and shaking her head, especially after having her head down and scratching for food
• she also seems to move her beak actively like she has something in her mouth
• this has been going on for more than 3 weeks
• we have 8 others chickens and none of them are showing similar signs
• i had suspected gape worm at first, but she doesn't seem to have trouble breathing (at least for now) or make similar motions to what I've seen online
• she continues this behavior into the night while roosting
• her skin around her eyes and pea comb is dull at not as red as usual
• she is about 4 years old

She may have an impacted crop, a long piece of grass could do that. Does her face seem swollen at all? Have you seen her spit up when she drinks? Does her crop seem to be large, or not going down? Like if you feel it before bed and then in the morning, is it the same size?

I massaged her crop and did not feel anything out of the ordinary. As I was massaging her it made her cough quite a bit more and her eye started to get foamy....so now I feel it is definitely a respiratory related thing.

Any suggestions on types of treatment for this?
