Brahma hen molt

our feathered footed Brahma is molting. We noticed her feet feathers are all gone, but she has several quils and her feet look swollen and seem to be sore. She eating and drinking but we noticed she doesn’t want to walk much, just want sit in dusting box. We brought her in for an epsom salt soak and to check for any signs of trama, bumble, there isn’t any but feet look a bit swollen, could this be from the molt? The quils are doing a number on her feet.

Very likely she's sore with new feathers coming in on the feet/legs.

Hi, thank you for the response. I will get a picture uploaded, but it seems at this point the swelling has gone down a bit. We’ve continued to do the soakings and are monitoring her daily.
