What a pretty one she is!!! I have what may be a dumb question but again this is my first time with chickens. I didn’t want a rooster but I will not get rid of him so my question is can I eat the eggs regardless if they are fertilized? I collect my eggs every day.Cockrell aka boy. I have a hen over a year who looks smaller then him, same breed
Yes you can. Just don't leave them out in the heat for extended periods of time (in the sun, under a broody, etc.) and you'll be fine. All the eggs I eat are fertile. What a pretty one she is!!!
