Brahma Hen

Hiya, are Brahma hens usually at the top or bottom of the pecking order?
Thanks! :D :)
I have to agree with everyone else, I love my Brahmas! I have a Brahma roo and 2 Brahma hens. The girls are sweetest in my flock. Even my roo is a good boy. The girls I have are not on top of pecking order. They're in middle of a mixed flock. My BSL and RIR are at top of pecking order.

Hey Brahma people!
those of you that know the breed. there's a new thread on BYC called "was I cheated?" .somebody go over there and evaluate those brahmas they bought. they look like crap to me but I don't know the breed . The buyer spent $100 for these three birds.
That thread is over in the "what breed or gender is this?" forum.
thanks ,
Karen

Ok. Thank you for your help!
Your advice has been so helpful!!! Is there anything else to know?
If you free range you can slowly introduce while everyone is out so no one gets locked in unable to get away from an attack. You can also do this in a large run, but be ready to step in if needed. And make sure younger one can get away. Also putting a look but no touch area for younger ones for few weeks before actual introductions. They will peck and bicker with Lil ones, let it go unless someone is getting hurt or being relentless or causing blood if this happens separate. They have to do a bit of bickering to work out pecking order, but you don't want anyone getting hurt, unable to run away or stuck in corner somewhere. Also, make sure before letting them go unattended together that all are able to access food and water...add extra if needed
