It depends on how big the wattles/cob the parent stock had.
Honetly with this bird, you can tell by the coloring, a hen will not have that color pattern, as you can see in the pictures. Some colors the roosters and hens will be the same, and others will be different. At 3-4 months old, pointed feathers will start coming in on his saddle(back) and hackle(neck), all roosters have these, unless they are hen-feathered(like Sebrights).
