They do a hefty toll on hens, though. Impossible to miss.

definetly a pullet. No color on the face, nothing looking like male characteristics.

Keep in mind that during that first molt, they tend to get a bunch of wacky looking feathers in the tail. I was convinced I had boys in my batch of brahmas, but everybody turned out to be girls.

I swore mine were boys too. They made me nervous. Their tails are just different .
