Pretty sure that Moel is a pullet (the neck feathers are definitely saying that).

Brahmas are such lovely birds both from a character and appearance point of view. Here's a few others of mine who are not quite so feather challenged.

The big Dark Brahma hen, Mrs Grey, in the pic. is forever broody and a great mum.

I went to the feed store on Sat to pick up some layer crumbles, and came home with three 2 week old Buff Brahmas. After reading through this thread, and seeing all the beautiful birds, I can't believe I waited this long to get in the club! The lady at feed store had a couple left, if they're still there after work, I'm gonna take them home as well. I will post some pics tonite of the babies. Two of them don't seem to have foot feathers yet, is this normal?

our two pullets lost their foot fuzz about a week and a half before they started getting any feathers on their feet... how old are yours...
