I have two roosters, now just over 6 months old. One started seriously crowing about 12 weeks of age. He is my alpha rooster. The other started crowing at about 14 weeks old, but he has yet to master his crowing voice. It's a poor attempt at copying his 'brother'. Guessing it's because he's no. 2 in the rooster pecking order. LOL

I have a light brahma rooster that is about 5 months old now. He started crowing a month ago

. Here is a recent video of him trying to get figs. He was jumping right before I started to record, but then he stopped. He's quite big and already harassing my pullets and mounting them, too bad for him that they aren't interested in mating yet.

Kinda of a cool day, but a sad one. Just got back from picking up the last Dark Birds Carole with Fowl Visions had. While I like the birds (Really like the Show Hen and Roo she got from Susan!) knowing Carole will not have them anymore makes things a little sad. I will post some pics later - the Rooster is molting...

One of my Light Bantam Brahmas. She is 4 1/2 mos old. Quite a chunk!

she is magnificent, I have to stop ordering my LF Light Brahmas from different hatcheries, with the thoughts I will breed up, just a stupid Idea ... I am gonna dust off the bator next spring and start looking for a good Light Brahma breeder, I am getting just too old to try and breed up from hathery stock.

VERY nice Clare. She should do well in the show coop.
