Thank you!!! I am so lucky they are just the sweetest!!Sally I love your brahmas!
Thank you! I love my Dark brahma too! Brahma just are THE BEST birds I have had yet!! oh playing favs hugh? LOL well ya cant blame them right? he he heSally,
Your chickens are so beautiful! I love how they all are similar, yet so different and unique in appearance. That is a great flock you have! I recently said goodbye to my big ol' Dark Brahma rooster. He was almost a year old, I received him in a "pullets-only" order from Murray McMurray, so somehow he had slipped under the radar! I didn't mind though because we live on a farm property. He hardly crowed but once ever so quietly in the mornings, which I think is because he felt subordinate to my older bantam rooster! Poor thing. Anyhow, he grew like the speed of a bean stalk! I was sure he wasn't ever going to stop growing lol. The reason he was re-homed is because he was an overzealous lover with the lady hens. He would single one out for months at a time as his favorite. His favorites kept loosing feathers so severely to the point of bald patches. Ib decided it was time for him to go.
oh wow look she is sorta curly!! When u get a better pic I would love to see her!
