I am looking to buy 3 brahma pullets. They need to be between 10 and 16 weeks old preferably but that's just a guesstimate. Don't want much younger, but could go older. Would prefer golden, but open to other suggestions. I live in Southwest Pennsylvania, and would be willing to drive even a couple hours as needed. LOL yes i was very Paranoid about issues i would hate to take anything to anyone but i got myself turned around
someone on another list is litterally posting that every one knows who not to buy from LMAO now i hate whne one person includes every one since so far i know 5 that disagree its a hoot now .

Hocks are up higher on the chicken, where a knee joint would be for us is called the hock joint. Vulture hocks are long stiff feathers growing from the hock (just above the hock joint) and protruding out past the hock joint. It is a disqualification in most feather legged breeds (all except D'Uccle, Booted, and Sultan if I remember correctly).

I can take photos of Whitney and show you the worst case i have seen he is a white Brahma that the breeder gave me because he did not want it seen on his place LOL . as a day odl chick he had these huge extra ankle wings I still love him he will be the best pot pie i ever had since hes been in with Patron because the Junior Darks where picking on him and Molly was wanting to hatch so i snuck him in with her she took him on as her own single chick

Newbie here. I have 6- 24 week old buff brahma pullets and 6 buff brahma hens. My question is, are they suppost to be a lighter or darker buff color. I have one super dark pullet and all the rest are about the same color.
