My broody barred rock hatched 2 fertilized eggs I placed under her about 5 months ago.
Attached a pict showing the 2 chickens(now about 5 months old). I'm assuming
they are Brahmas, of some variety..... I'm not all that familiar w the breed. Can anyone tell
if the white one looks like it's on it' s way to being a rooster?? It does not crow, has laid no
eggs (neither has the brown one).... and the other day I noticed it was trying to mount one of
the barred rocks. It's also very skittish and a nervous nelly. Thanks.

Made some very hard decisions

I'm going to get out of the chicken "business". A few other reasons, but mainly my health. I just can't do the things I like to do anymore it seems. Of course I'll still have chickens in the backyard, but the breeding is going to have to be put on the back burner. I will be selling everything...

incubators, coops, birds etc. Birds will be auctioned or sold privately, everything else... I'll probably put a craigslist ad together.

It's been so much fun with all of you guys!

I'll be selling my blue and gold partridge flocks as well. I'll be posting auctions on BYC and rare breeds. I have 2 gorgeous blue boys that can be paired with 2-3 gold hens and blue hens paired with gold partridge boys. I'll also be selling the parent stock for all the younger 7-8 month olds
