I've been fairly good at tail sexing them, at least with the stock I have now. The pullets tails come in long and the cockerals tails tend to stay short and choppy looking....anyone else notice this in theirs?
I have heard of this in Brahmas. I do have 1 or two with longer tails. We'll see. :)

I have 9 dark hatchery pullets (so far they are pullets) and need to clear some out - got them as day olds in March - so do I go by toe feathering at this point?

Why did you get them from a Hatchery ?
Need a Roo to go with them LOL i have 2 extra i am keeping my adult patron but can only keep 1 more so .

Desperation - wanted to get my project started and can't find ANY quality birds here about. These don't look too bad considering, the down color was correct but only 3 have good middle toe feathering - if you want to ship me a roo in October when it cools down...
