Never tried it, so not sure. Sorry. I'd imagine you would get either a lot of white leakage, or a primarily light colored bird with a lot of penciled feathers (as you see in poor colored females as is).Any idea what a light/dark cross looks like?
It is a pullet. There are NO hackle/saddle feathers. Male Lights have saddle feathers with black striping.There's only 2 out of the 8 that the long ear lobs. This COCKEREL (I hope) has the longest of the 2. Again, beyond most peoples dismay, these are only hatchery Lights. And yet again, I will be getting breeder birds next year. Just spent to much on 25 Heritage Delawares and 10 HRIR's this year. I just seen every bodies LB's and love them. Just had to get a few, no matter what they were.
