I love Brahmas. Last year we got this big guy. He's over 3' tall and over 15 lbs. He's not very nice, but he's gorgeous.

One thing I love in birds is size. I dont think he is half bad in terms of quality. I like him. My white rock rooster is about the same size.
 
During the summer I obtained 10 Brahma chicks by mail. Now that they are grown I have 3 roosters and have the horrible decision of picking one. they are fighting each other and I don't want them to hurt themselves. I was expecting my Brahmas to be larger though. How long does it take for them to grow. The roosters have starter crowing and going after the pullets. none of them have laid any eggs yet.

I used to have a light Brahma and he was huge compared to these guys. I know they are not bantams so why are they so small? they are not bantam size but they are not Large bird size either.



PS: sorry I have not posted here as much as I used to.
 
From the sounds of things they are still young. They get their frame the first year and then the next year they fill out. I think hens/pullets grow until they are 18 months old and cocks/cockerels until two years old.
