From the sounds of things they are still young. They get their frame the first year and then the next year they fill out. I think hens/pullets grow until they are 18 months old and cocks/cockerels until two years old.

yes they are about 6 months old. So if its like you say i can expect them to grow bigger the the next year or so.

So my Buff cockerel is being real mean to the Pullets. he pulls on their crests and pecks at them to have the food bowl to himself.
I separated my Light and Dark cockerels in a different enclosure. with no pullets around they seem to get along well.

I don't know what to do.
I think i may keep the Light Cockerel since he is not super tame and will defend the pullets if needed.
The Buff is supper mean to the pullets.
The Dark is very tame and gets beat up my CuCoo ( my old hen )

Hey all i know many of you thought i was crazy killing off my birds instead of treating them but the state vet was concerned that doing that would create a resistant bacterium .
Looks like i made the correct choice as others have failed us
