Here are a couple of pictures of my Big Stock Light Brahma breed stock. It was a very rainy day & my roo was wet on his back.

I got him today! Here he is settling in. He will roam with my girls during the day for a couple of hours but oused seperately for a couple of weeks until they all get used to each other. The girls had a go at his flouncy tail but he soon told them who was boss! He is so docile, he was taking bread from ym 3 yr old girl witin minutes of arriving (my heart was in my mouth) and apart from a little scaly leg (so now showing this year, oh well) he is immaculate. Some sunshine and good food will do him well. One question - the barbs in his tail feathers seem to have degraded a little, and the feathers look a little scraggly, how can I fix them?

and here he is again, my little girl has named him Leafy - our first chicken wit a name!
