Not bad! I like the skull width. What line? Looks like a show bird. Do you show?

Yes Tim i show. My name is Zach Rose (common name at poultry shows for OEGB) im only 15 but got an awesome start 5 years ago. this is a new pullet from Don Bichof. his birds are a mix of Spence/Williams, and Dave Anderson (Past President of APA). my birds im breeding them with are my birds i hatched out of a trio from Spence and Williams. the brahmas havent done well until i got these now instead of 2 eggs a week i am getting 8. They seem to have slightly high tail angles but mine are ok. but they have better size, mine are like 20oz. overweight these are closer to std. weights. i have posted pics of my brahmas here before, many posts/pages ago, but it is a good example of what i have.

May I ask what the standard weight for a Brahma bantam versus standard size should be? I'm just getting started breeding Brahma bantams to standard and I'll be getting my first birds to start this project in the spring of next year. I'm still learning all I can to get started on the right foot.

Very nice Zach. My birds have a lot of Spence/Williams in them also(Buff and Light) with a little John Neff mixed in also. The Bantam standard says Cock-38 oz, Hen-34 oz, Cockerel-34 oz, and Pullet-30 oz. In my area of the country every bird shown is well overweight. Bigger birds usually seem to win? Its nice to meet you Zach. Keep up the good work.
