Help....Is she a cross breed?

I posted this picture on another thread, and I was told she wasn't a pure brahma.

I contacted the hatchery, and they said that Buff Brahmas can have yellow or gray skin. And that she is 100% Brahma.

Who is right? Other than the gray skin, she is the same as the whites and darks.

She looks mixed to me. Her head is small and she looks like she has a single comb and none of my Brahmas have darker skin or feet. She is still pretty, but I don't think she is pure.

The hatchery either lied or they did not know what they were talking about. Buff brahmas are supposed to have yellow legs-according to both standards, AND that bird has a single comb. Not a Brahma.

Its a hatchery that has been recommend on this site's forums. So I thought I would be okay.

I don't mind that she isn't pure. But I'm sure they will keep selling them as pure.

Beautiful birds. It makes me want to get some hatching eggs of the unique colored brahmas, but I don't have an incubator. I'm enjoying my hatchery brahmas for now.

Now Cheryl, you just let me know when you need someone to hatch some of those eggs for you!!!

I promise I'll make myself available. They are looking great!
