Hi! I'm hunting eggs (preferably NPIP source) to set for the NYD hatch. I'd love some good Brahmas...dark or laced, or anything but light ones. (The light birds draw the hawks in here!) Does anyone have anything laying right now, and if so could you sell me a few eggs? Please pm me if you have any!

I got this gentleman from cackle hatchery in may 2012. He was supposed to be a LF Buff Brahma but he has more of a laced pattern. Do you think crossbred or genetic mutation? Obviously I am not working on show quality so it isn't a huge deal It is just in my curious nature to see what ppl with more experience think. Thanks for your input. JK

Looks like he has a half dose of the necessary lacing genes. Could have been a Buff Brahma x Gold laced project Brahma.
