I will, just as soon as I get some of the rest of the parts together. All are pieced except some of the white rectangles with gold triangles that surround the X's. Will put it up later tonight--had to take a break and put the birds away. It's my life, chickens and quilts with a little DH thrown in for good measure.

Ok, here are the blocks made the wrong way (not sewn together except the upper left and center), but put up on the board without the sashing strips between the rows. They're not exactly together perfectly, but I think you can see how it would look done this way, as opposed to the intended way. What do you think? I can unsew the first two, fix them, then do the remainder the right way. Or do them all the wrong way or, or, or, heck, I dunno.

I think I agree. Well, then, I'll just undo those first two blocks and do the rest in the proper manner. I love design boards, don't you?

Mine is just a cheap vinyl tablecloth thumbtacked to the bedroom wall, with the flannel part showing. It was about 61" by 80-something" and cost $5 at Walmart. I love using one!

Well, the two rebel blocks have been picked apart, pieces re-ironed and one is partially constructed, correctly this time. My eyes are crossing so I have to put it down for the night now. I have been quilting on Ellie's watercolor quilt and have the main part within the borders about half finished.
