Can this chicken be aggressive? Does he sometimes fight with his friends? Or rarely?

I know this is an older thread but I have a silver Braekel roo that I adopted from a friend. He's an ornery little thing but I adore him. Just realized he's the little guy in my avatar :) Hardly as correct as the ones SimonV posted but then again, I got him for free. I'm in NJ. I don't have any room to take on birds this year but was wondering if any of you have acquired any Silver Braekels and if you have eggs or chicks available at times? I know it's a long shot but if I know there are some local, I'll reserve some spots for Braekels in our flock next year. Thanks so much!

Those Brakelchicks look don't look anything like mine, they have orange legs

.
And they seem to be much whiter.

These are some of mine, don't pay attention to the middle chick, that ain't a Brakel, that's a Malinois bantam .
Do you still have brakels?

Hi All!
We have Gold Brakels here in the U.S. We got ours from Greenfire Farms before they lost their flock to a bobcat. As far as I know, only us and one other breeder in Southern California have any of the remaining stock from Greenfire. We have been working together for 2 years and have not intermingled any of the stock in order to try and keep some genetic diversity for folks interested in the breed's conservation. They are lovely birds, very sweet. Mine are a bit flighty only when I move quickly, but equally as fast at moving right back to my feet. :) They are excellent foragers and well suited to life here on our farm. They are exceptional layers and darn near every egg we incubate just pops right out of the egg. They are definitely a strong breed! Here are some pics of our birds! We are getting ready to release some on Rarebreedauctions.com in a few weeks. I'd love to see more folks get a hold of these amazing beauties! :)

Do you still have Brakels? Located in Texas and searching all over US.
