We hatched some chicks out on the 9th of this month. They all are doing exceptionally well! But one has an issue. The thing eats and drinks and walks. But it doesn’t like to stand or walk very often. It seems its left leg doesn’t want to work properly but the legs aren’t splayed out to the sides.... anyone ever dealt with this?

Can you see, or feel, any difference between the right and left leg? If it can walk, I'm hoping that maybe the chick will get stronger in short time. But I have never dealt with this situation myself. Signing on to the thread to read what others have to say. Best wishes.

She’s walking and standing a bit more today. She’s acting completely normal, and has been. Eating, drinking, and all that. It’s just that leg. I can’t physically see anything wrong with it. In a way she’s unbalanced and you can see her being a little topsy turvy when she stands. She falls over quite a bit. But I think she’s getting stronger! Maybe she’ll pull through:) We named her Aurora (sleeping beauty spin off) early on because she slept so much and would hardly walk at all when she was a new new chick. Lol

A video of it walking would help...upload to youtube then link here.
Was it a later hatch?
