BRAND NEW PEACOCK COLOR

Would love to see a picture of him fanning. Maybe when he gets his train back you can take a picture and show us.

To all you huggers...lol

I never noticed it before but somehow the photo of the White bird may not have transfered to facebook as all white. I am not claiming this bird to be anything but white.

I know it did not say that on the FB page but I noticed the green coloring to it after seeing the other one on here and thought it cool. Just a coincidence, I suppose but it is neat how the neck really looks green in this photo as well as some of the train feathers. At least on my monitor. I wondered if it was my monitor or the photo catching the green surrounding the bird. I was just looking and it caught my eye after reading about your new colored bird.

Remember about a year ago a member posted several pictures of a white peafowl in a zoo inAustralia I think that seemed to them to have yellow tint all throughout it's body? Funny but not much more followup on that coincidence of nature.Wonder if feeding lots of carotene will make white feathers orange too? Feeding green grass makes them green tinted? Strawberries gives them a red tint? Grapes purple, ect, ect??

Princess has red/pink tint after wrestling with her watermelon. Does that count? :lau

It wasn't yellow she was more like an oaten .

I am developing a new color peacock. It is called Anabel's White Delight. I took this photo after the bird had lost his train. He is a little dingy and it had rained a little too. But you can see it is a green eyed white. Has anyone seen anything like it before? Go to my facebook account at Doug's peacock farm to see my other peacock photos. If you are local to Silsbee, Texas I still have a few Blues and pieds for sale. I am not letting go of my green eyed whites just yet.

Hmmm I'm sceptical to say the least! See the "green" tail feather, looks old and tatty and ready to drop out and re grow white (like the other tail feathers) Plus some on the wing fearthers.... The eyes I'm sceptical on also, my white peafowl get this in very wet weather but it always moults out, I think you need more solid proof this is a mutation to be honest, I really hope it is though.
