BRAND NEW PEACOCK COLOR

That article is the start of the silver pied bird that come from that mating series . It seems like it was Ernie West, but no quotes on that. Then the silver pied showed up in 2 or 3 places and was worked on by some good breeders to develop what it is today. If I find it I will post. thanks connerhills

Hmmm I'm sceptical to say the least! See the "green" tail feather, looks old and tatty and ready to drop out and re grow white (like the other tail feathers) Plus some on the wing fearthers.... The eyes I'm sceptical on also, my white peafowl get this in very wet weather but it always moults out, I think you need more solid proof this is a mutation to be honest, I really hope it is though.

I have some also in a different color

I have also seen the green here

Sorry about this but I thought I was sending the quoted post with it.. Please read post number 43, 56, 57 of this thread. I was replying that I had read that also and if I find it again., I can post it ,, I think???? connerhills

I wondered if the original poster was just pulling everyone's leg to see what would bite. I would love to see this as a new color but after studying peafowl colors, it seems near to impossible for it to create to look like this.

Having talked with him some privately, he does seem delusional. Saying all these other colors are impossible when I know for a fact they are not and having seen them with my own eyes, then I am sure not to trust him on peafowl.
The good thing about photos that people post on the internet nowadays is that you can trace the origin back so you know where they actually come from. Posting other people's photos and calling them your own is a big no-no.
