I'm always trying to keep and eye out for different products I come across and where they are purchasable, even if I don't use them. Permethrin has surprised me the most; specifically how it's so available in the US and how intensely regulated it is here...lol.

It'd be so much easier if the products were the same in both countries.
Or everywhere. (That's asking for too much, isn't it?)

I will try. it is just 3/4 inchplywood. it is just a box 5 feet by 5 feet by 4feet high sitting 2 feet obove the ground.

Same as my old coop and 2' feet up which is awesome for northern climates. Supposedly a weasel can jump 2' max..yet to see it though. lol Any updates?

she is still pretty lethargic, her color is pink rather than red. she is still drinking,water and mush. gets up and wanders about the house fer a bit then sleeps. i washed her head a bit more last night. heading into town tomorrow so will look fer some chicken kit supplies.and vitamins. I think shes gonna pull through, but will take a while.

She sounds like a tough hen. I'm hoping she continues to inch along.

I had a cull rooster get attacked this fall in our barn and whatever got a hold of him bit him/had a hold of him by the neck. He escaped by hiding out next to the exterior barn door behind a bale and he got chilled as well. He couldn't lift his head for 2 weeks. He pulled through.

she is not eating solids but is drinking lots . gets a bit wobbly when she walks but is stable. she tried to et somesolid today whch is an imprivement.I have her drinking mush basically..
