Bread Can Kill or hotdogs???

This just makes me realize how much I miss my chickens we had before the fox attack...and how much I am soooooo lookin forward to the new chicks arriving in April!!!!

I think they just suggest that baby chicks don't get bugs. I have no idea why, but I've always been told that about the babies. Now grown chickens, it's fine. Mine love crickets

My chickens love bread and I have never had any problems by feeding them bread, also I feed hot dogs every now and then to give them extra protein.

Mine have gotten both bread and hot dogs and seem fine. Hot dogs, salami, bacon and bratwurst seem to be some of their favorites. I swear they enjoy food as much as I do.
