I think I would leave it all alone and see what happens. The feather may be a bit deformed but as it comes on it, it may be fine. If it's not bothering her, then I would leave it be.
For the eyes, she can see, I don't see any irritation or pus. I would leave those alone too.
The thing is, is that it is all 5 feathers so I feel like there is something more going on. Just as a precaution I have been cleaning it with saline solution then put neopsorin on it. Two of the feathers are not sticking out though. They are like the two feathers you could see in the picture but instead of sticking out, they are inside.
I think terramycin for a few days won't do harm just to see if it helps make the cloudiness go away.
And did you answer about Dev's eye bump too?
Well we have another Eddie mystery, although I would still love to know about Devs eye bump. Eddie has some white feathers, there are some plain white ones on her face and she also has some that have white on the base of the feathers. Any ideas? The pictures are feathers that are lacking a lot of the white but you can still see it, she has other feathers that show it much more.
I would leave the eyes alone.
White at the base of the pulled feather looks like down.
White at the base of the pin feather coming in looks like a keratin sheath which will peel away as the feather grows on in.
Ok, I didn’t know down could have a different color from her regular black feathers.
And that’s what I was thinking but under her beak she has some white feathers that are actual feathers. They are super small because they are face ones but they are a feather.
Not that I have noticed. She is very skilled at spotting flying predators but I usually catch her taking naps in her therapy chair but I doubt for my 9 year old that’s bad. She usually half way closes her eyes during her naps. One eye half shut and the other is usually open.
What would a chicken with bothered eyes look like?
