Here is a page for them, some history [IMG]

I have been searching all day for a word that describes them ... it just came to me - majestic . They have such a presence about them...even dh kept going to look at them and chickens aren't "his thing" at all [IMG]

A couple pictures of my blue and black Breda. If you want some cool freaky chickens these are for you. Of all the different breeds and projects I have here on the farm more people ask about my Breda than any other chicken I have. I think they are going to make great free range birds they are very aware of there surroundings.

Thanks! They are really cool birds and super people friendly. Its to bad America let them slip into extinction long ago. Thankfully Greenfire Farm brought them back from non-existence for all of us to once again let roam.
