I'm going to stick to my black and mottled breda. Just a personal preference.

Glad to hear that. Keeping the Breda intact is just as important as having those who desire to have new color breeding projects. Some people really like to experiment and some like to keep the breeds as they are -- I love both kinds of breeders for loving the Breda enough to breed them at all! I bet you can't wait for those chicks to hatch!

I got my Breda chicks in the mail from Dutch connection farm today I have 4 cuckoo 2 mottled and 1 split I'll post pics sometime today

It's a bit premature to ask but can you keep an eye on the difference in size between the Cuckoos and the Mottled hens? Also, if you notice any difference in the size of vulture hocks between the Cuckoos and the others? Our Cuckoo hen (from RFR who got their parent stock from Dutch Conn) was a larger hen with larger vulture hocks and more timid than the Blues we had before.

Oh rooster they are gorgeous!!the white head ones look just like my white one as chicks. I bet they will grow up to look like this mine a bit

Yeah I will post updates on growth and stuff so far the mottled ones are bigger than the cuckoo and there the same age I plan on breeding the cuckoo to my black so they have the right color beak and feet like there suppose to have

Pretty sure Breda fowl are suppose to have gray feet and a darker colored beak like the black breda not light colored feet like mottled and cuckoo I think the crossing it took between different needs to get mottleds and cuckoo is why they have a light color beak like that
