Is anyone else seeing nobs forming on the comb. I have a pullets that developed tiny nobbs that look like they would form the La Fleche type comb if they had continued to grow.

Yes, I have. That is actually a duplex v- comb (just like the La Flèche). Those birds are best culled. Is anyone else seeing nobs forming on the comb. I have a pullets that developed tiny nobbs that look like they would form the La Fleche type comb if they had continued to grow.
Wow that splash is absolutely gorgeous. We have 2 blues and a black we got from GFF the black is a little weak, they r about a week old.
At 7 weeks, Mine are easy to sex. The boys have the red emerging Wattles and btw are beginning to crow. The girls have no wattles. However, the boys I raised last year while developing the wattles, didn't crow until much later. I had them in a coop with a dominant rooster-so maybe they waited longer to crow.
