I bought this girl as a chick through Hoovers. She is supposed to be a sapphire olive egger. She is only 14 weeks and two days which I know is young so I’m hoping that the egg color might change. Or is she actually not a sapphire olive egger like I was told? If she is a sapphire olive egger which to me she looks like will the egg color possibly change as she matures a bit more? Anyone with sapphire olive eggers from Hoovers have them lay brown eggs? Thanks everyone

The shade of brown may change but it won't change to olive color.
Haven't looked in a minute but Hoover's website used to say something about 5% of them could lay brown eggs.
5% doesn't math out for me so I except it's more like 25% at least. Saying 5% covers their butt but looks like slim enough odds to please buyers.

Yep that’s exactly what I was afraid of. Thanks so much for weighing in.

On a good note at least yours is a girl.
You know how many people bought sexed pullets from them that ended up being males? Tons

Sadly I’m in that category as well. I had two roos and because I waited till the crowed to tell them cause I figured I needed proof I missed my window for being reimbursed.
