Breed and gender help

Can anyone e tell me what breed this black hen is and what gender the brown one is please?

Black one looks like a cochin from what I can see, brown one is a rooster, can't tell breed from that picture.

Black hen looks like a cochin. We really need to see both birds = standing naturally in side view. to check for other gender features. Can't guess at breed of rooster because we only see a small part of him. His entire color and markings and feet would be other clues.

Yes he does have feathered legs. And someone dropped him off in my yard.

Black hen is a Cochin. Brown "actually red" one is a male.
