Great idea!Yes we plan on getting 2 more so she/he has friends!
Easter Egger chicks are commonly found at TSC.We've got a friend who has some pullets that he's willing to give us... BUT at the same time I'm really enjoying the temperament of this Easter Egger and my son would love the fact that the eggs are colored. Any idea where I can find Easter Egger pullets?
It's sad, but I think you're right. He's a 10-12 week old-ish Easter Egger cockerel. I bet his gender is the reason for dumping![]()
I agreeIt's sad, but I think you're right.
Nobody should just DUMP a chicken just because he's a male.
Near Kankakee, IL... Tried John's Fowl Farm but they don't have pullets... Only chicks.Easter Egger chicks are commonly found at TSC.
But those are chicks. About 1-2 days old, which is not ideal for your situation.
Where are you located?
Can I do the same thing with my husband?! LOL! Kidding (of course)!!It's sad, but I think you're right.

I totally agree! Like I said either way we're keeping it... It just seems really grateful for being rescued.I agreeNot right or fair for the bird but some people want the easy way out
