Breed and gender help

Hi there, I'm new here. I got these two chicks from my son. Pretty sure the white one is a silkie bantam, not sure about the gray one.

Also hoping both are hens.

How old?
You have a mixed breed silkie cockerel and an Easter egger pullet.

my son got them around 2-24-23 from tractor supply

The silkie is a cockerel. The Easter egger is a pullet. If you cannot keep roosters, I suggest making plans to rehome him asap. And the pullet will need a friend if he goes, preferably one around her own age.

Thanks for the help! Sadly I cannot keep a rooster but my son can so the little cutie will have a home.

That's a better outcome than many unexpected roosters get. I'm glad he will have a home.
