Breed and gender and how do you know?

THe buff ones are probably buff Plymouth rocks, and look like pullets, based on the small, pale combs. Their yellow legs differentiate them from buff Orpingtons.

The other bird looks like a speckled Sussex. I cannot see the comb too well, but from what I see I think it is also a pullet.

They are about 14 weeks.
