Breed and Gender Thread, anyone ask!

You could mix red and silver heavy breeds (use a Delaware if you like the neck barring) until you get the look you want. :confused:

They have a multiple generation recipe they use that they aren't going to just give away and you aren't going to replicate by sexlink x sexlink. You will get a bird here and there that superficially resembles him but you'll also get plenty that are mostly white. And, if you start with hatchery links, they've been selected for laying traits and feed efficiency, not large size. So, you'd really do better starting with quality duals if you want to end up with duals.

Creating a consistent look and performance in the offspring is where the effort comes in and why they put their ® on it.
 
Hi- we have two 3-4 month old SL Wyandottes (we believe) and one is looking pretty roo-ish. She/he is much more aggressive and comb developement is obveously much farther along even though the other bird is bigger.
