Breed and gender

Is it harder to tell the gender if the chick is mixed? What age should I post pics to get the best gender?

8 weeks roughly depending on the breed or mix of breeds. Some are slow to feather and develop.

I dont find mixes any harder than purebreds and, excepting polish and silkies (or mixes with those), have most sexed by 4 weeks, 6-8 for the more challenging chicks
