Breed and gender??

Hi!
We got day old chicks from our local feed store. My daughter picked this one up and put it with the ones I was getting, but I never got a chance to see what breed it was before she added it to the mix. It was solid black as a day old chick and is 7 weeks old now. It is a little smaller than the Orpington and Rhode Island Red chicks we got. In the sun, the black feathers have a really pretty bluish green tint. There are some orange/red feathers on the chest. Wondering about the breed and whether a pullet or cockerel?
Edit: I added pictures as a few days old chick. Important!! Mama hen raised them when the eggs she was sitting didn't hatch... none of these chicks came from eggs from our flock.

She did post pictures, and 7 week old chickens don't lay eggs.

Either black australorp or black sex link. More likely it's a black sex link, because of the orange on the breast.

I think it is a pullet.

Looks like a boy. I agree with the black sex link. What do BCMs look like at 7 weeks? What color legs does he have?

Only 7 weeks old, so no egg laying yet. I went ahead and added two pictures of when it was a couple of days old
