Not a Modern Game, they have single combs. This pullet/hen has a pea comb. She is an American Gamefowl.

It happens. Each chicken is different. Although some breeds are known to be louder than others.
How did you come to adopt her?

I had 3 chickens, wanted a 4th that laid blue, adopted an Easter Egger from local feed store. He turned out to be a rooster. Loved him but can't keep a roo, so rehomed him to a local boys home wherewhere have giant working farm. While there, I saw her and decided to keep her in trade. She's louder than my rooster was though!
