Breed and sex

Anyone know what I have here?? Breed and sex? Approximate age.
Found it living in our magnolia tree. Our neighbor said it has been there for a couple weeks and his dog keeps trying to get it. I had no idea til flew out of the tree while I was mowing. Thanks for any insight!

I would guess a brown leghorn pullet!

I would guess that’s not her egg because she has white earlobes (meaning white eggs).

I could be wrong, but I have read that you can't rely on that in some crossbreeds.
