I received an assortment from Hoover hatchery on March 29th so these girls(i hope) are 5 weeks old. I believe they are probably Brown leghorns but could be Welsummers but I'm curious if their little mohawks are something else, or just their head feathers coming in funny! TIA

Not Leghorns or Welsummer.
Don't look like Legbars to me.
Considering where they came from I'm going with so kind of hybrid "Eggers"

I would be so excited if they were even a hybrid egger 😍 they just got these little crests so I was excited that they might be one of those!

They're some kind of Easter-egger or olive-egger mix. Legbars shouldn't be the deep reddish-brown color those birds are, and neither of the breeds mentioned in the original post would have crests.
Yes, I agree..

I found myself reviewing the pattern and thinking no something is a miss.. EE makes good sense.. possibly crossed with CCL genes. I was excited though.

You were... EggSighted? ;)

No worries! :D Yes, most likely they're Legbar mixes, as that seems to be where those little head tufts come from on most of the 'egger' mixes these days.
