I thought my leghorn was a Roo until she was the first one of my 4 hens to lay an egg that was at about 20 to 25 weeks old..

I tend to wait till i know 100%. By 13 weeks its usually very obvious and you can confidently make the call.

I'm inclined to agree with this A couple look iffy, but theres a lot of cockerels there sadly.

I appreciate all the input. Anyone ever had success in willing / wishing them hens ? yikes. What are the odds with 5/1
Anyone have experience with cackle hatchery ? The do a small order of 3 hens with a guarantee gender.

IMO not totally 100% certain yet. That is why I think you should wait.

i would wait as things can change, but they do look like cockerels.
