Hi all! I got a surprise batch of young birds from a neighbor and I was hoping I could get some helping figuring out what they are! I don't know their age but they're pretty much the same size as the 3 I hatched out 2 months ago (except one that seems to be a bit behind the others) so 8 weeks is my best guess. All he knew was the guy got them at an auction and told him they were guineas LOL so maybe they're extra someone ordered from a hatchery or maybe just some pretty barnyard mixes? There's 7 (the silkies and the red crested one with the bit of white are the ones I hatched from my birds) All 7 have yellow legs and single combs. I'll put lots of pics, thanks everyone!
#1 This is the one that's a bit younger than all the others. It looks like it's got really faint barring in some of its feathers, really pretty.

#2 I'm almost certain this one is a mixed breed, I can't think of any red crested birds besides polish but it has the single comb and yellow legs so definitely not pure polish. It's the one sunbathing with #1 above. Ignore the one with the white in it's crest, I just thought it was funny that they're so close in looks.

#3 This is the other crested one, I have no idea what it could be unless it's another mix, definitely neat looking though! I'm guessing it's a pullet going by its coloring. It's also in the pic with the red crested one above.

#4 This one looks a lot like #3 color wise, maybe a bit lighter. Also guessing this one is a pullet, maybe brown leghorn?

#5 There's 3 black/ gold ones but this one is different from the other 2, it's chest is reddish brown colored and it has more of the patterned gold throughout. The head is all black. So beautiful!

#6 and #7 These 2 look so much alike I'm grouping them together. They have all black heads and the gold lacing is on their chest and body. These 2 also have a bit of dark color on their feet. In the pic with all 3, these 2 are the ones on the left. Maybe barnevelders?

I appreciate your guesses! If anyone can hazard guesses to gender too that would be awesome! Thanks again!

They're all barnyard mixes. I think there might be some gold laced Wyandotte or Branevelder in the dark chicks. The rest look like olive eggers or olive egger mixes. I think the crests are coming from a cream Legbar somewhere in the ancestry.
Thanks! I hadn't considered legbar in the mix or olive Eggers! The little one reminded me of an Easter Egger except for the yellow legs. A chance for some green eggs is a fun surprise!

I was going to say some Barnevelder and Cream Legbar genes in there too. They are all very pretty.

Do you have updated pictures?

Here they are as of today! I lost the littlest brown one that looked like an easter egger to a dog. The rest have really turned out beautiful! The brown ones look exactly alike except for the one having the little crest and they both have faint white bars on most of their feathers. The 2 black ones still have black heads and a bit of gold throughout the rest. The other black one has a black head, a reddish/dark gold breast and lots of gold throughout the rest. I don't know to call it lacing or maybe double laced if that's a thing?

Very pretty regardless of what the pattern is called! All of them ended up as pullets too.

That red one is one I hatched from a buff laced polish roo over a silkie/isa cross, she's as sweet as she is pretty, lol.

Looks like you have a couple purebred double laced barnevelders, a cream legbar mix, and a possible purebred cream legbar (you’ll know she’s purebred if she lays blue eggs). Do you have individual pictures of #2 and #5?
