Breed Help: Confirm these are actually Easter Eggers and not Ameraucanas

I thought EE's and Amauracauna's were the same breed.

Nah. The easy way to think about it;
Rhode Islands are a breed. They often come in the color red, sometimes other colors. RIR are a breed of chicken.
Ameraucanas are a breed. They often come in BBS, but other colors too. They are a breed of chicken.

Production reds, ISA browns, etc. are NOT a breed, but a variety. They have a lot of traits and appearance similar to a RIR, they usually have RIR in them, but they are NOT a RIR even though they are similar.
Easter Eggers are NOT a breed, but a variety. They have a lot of similar traits, and appearance is similar to an Ameraucana. They may even have Ameraucanas in the mix. But they aren't Ameraucanas, even though they're similar.

Few who raise Ameraucanas would mistake an EE for an Am, in the same way a RIR breeder would notice if a Golden Comet slipped into their flock.

Easter eggers are a cross. They have pea combs and usually lay blue or green eggs but can lay brown. They have no specific, breedable colors and are not APA recognized. I believe they do not breed true. Ameraucanas have a standard of body shape, leg color, etc, always lay blue eggs, and have recognizable color varieties. I'm pretty sure that they are APA recognized and do breed true.
This make perfect sense! Thank you! And congratulations @black_cat for the Friend award! 🥳

Thanks! And congrats to you too, @ChocolateMouse !

If you got them from TSC, they are probably “Americana”, aka EEs (not AmerAUcana)
Well that is what I assumed, but we took a photo of the sign....

Oh I always knew they were not true Ameraucanas, that is in my original post, lol... I was trying to confirm they are Easter Eggers. 😊 It seems we have done that, and learned a lot along the way. Not sure why the sign pic posted twice, clearly my error. I am always annoyed when the stores knowingly post what is basically false advertising. For the record, we knew when we bought them they were not the "real deal" and could not have cared less. They are great and we are happy to have them.
I Appreciate everyone's input.
